Report on Annexation of property Bast of Beaumont- City Council accepted the petition and referred the matter to the Planning CommYSaio[; for report as recommendation within 40 days. This matter is to be considered at April 249 1969 meeting. Report on Steering Committee for Planning for Pass Area for 701 General Plan was made by Mr. Thompson. Discussion was held regarding RT zone and the Cow y Planning Bepartesent Hr. Bill Pa4evick was present to represent and Mr. B. L. Collaton from Beaaat represented eatera Wa l Home. B. Thompson Minutes of April 24, 1969 regular meeting and adjourned meeting of April 30, 1969 were approved. Correspondence: Letter from League of CaYtfornia Cities re: Quimby Act, Al 1965 regarding Parks and recreation facilities. Bequest for a Lot S;Ut was presented from Versa Bendy for Late 11, 13, 15 in and the 124 of matter hwas Ztconsidsred and it was found that theslo�dconform in depth and there are no width limitations in M soon• Mr. Conley made a motion seconded by Mr. Brasis to approve the lot split as shown on proof of survey, with a 30 foot easement to allow accsse to lots and a ten foot easement on the vast boundary of Lots 11, 13 and 15. B. Thompson r Members absent: Mr. James Braxie; Mr. Joe Davis; Mr. Rae K. Edgar Minutes of the regular meeting of May 22, 1969 were approved as mailed. Mr. Harold D. Coles of 502 E. 11th Street presented Application for Lot Split The proof of Survey was studied by the Commission. Mr. Jay Conley made motion seconded by Mr. Larry Parrish that the Lot Split for property located at 302 E. 11th Street be granted as per Proof of Survey. Vote: AYES 4; NOES 0. 3 Absent. Mr. Geerge Molnar was present to represent the Calvary Baptist Church and presented a Plot plan of the proposed Classroom Building and 16 spaces for parking. He was advised that the square footage requires 32 parking spaces and was advised to have the plan show a revised location for the parking to reflect the 32 spaces. Mr. Coppenger, a friend of Mr. Beason, was present to discuss the possibility of a Zone change for property located within the proposed annexation: west of Beaumont. The Planning Commission went into a Personnel Executive Session at 8:30 p.m. The Commission reconvened at 9:00 p.m. Motion was undo by Mr. Guy Johnson and seconded by Mr. Jay Conley that the following Resolution be forwarded to the City Council: See Copy of Resolution 1969 -8 attached. First Street and City Limit ) WHEREAS a Public Hearing was bold before the Planning Commission of the City of Beaumont on the 13th day of November, 1969 on Application for Permission to move a building from San Bernardino, California to property located on Michigan Avenue between First Street and the City Limits in Beaumont, California; and WHEREAS, no one was present to speak in opposition except that a telegram from Steven Remmick, a neighbor, was read setting forth that the only opposition would be in regard to the supply of water from a well jointly owned by the Remmicks and Dell Word; and WHIMS, an opinion was received from the County Counsel of Riverside County that the question of the well was a personal matter between the Joint owners and not to be part of the consideration regarding the moving of the house, and VEWWS, Russell Ward has complied with all requirements of the Ordinance in regard to the moving of a building, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT she City Council be informed that that the Planning Commission does recommend the approval of the application to move a building as submitted by Russell Ward.
