BEAUMONT PLANNING COMMISSION
MINUTES OF
JANUARY 17, 1984
1. The Beaumont Planning Commission met in a regular meeting at 6:45
P.M., in the City Council Chambers, Beaumont Civic Center, on
Tuesday, January 17, 1984, with Chairman Berg presiding.
2. On Roll Call the following Commissioners were present: Duranceau,
Schuelke, Thompson, Medina, Tapp and Chairman Berg. Commissioner
Remy was absent at roll call, however, arrived during discussion
of Agenda Item No. 4 and participated in the meeting from that
time.
3. Minutes of January 10, 1984.
The meeting of January 3, 1984 was adjourned to January 10, 1984
for continued review of the Land Use Ordinance, with no minutes
recorded of this review session.
4. Planning Director's Comments on Agenda Sequence and /or Extra Agenda
Items.
The Planning Director presented his status report as of January 17,
1984, a copy of which is a part of the record.
5. Review Session.
The Commission continued their review of the proposed resolution
establishing a Planning /Engineering Fee Schedule.
On Motion by Commissioner Thompson, second by Commissioner Remy,
the Beaumont Planning Commission recommends the City Council adopt
the proposed fee schedule resolution with the stipulation that a
comparative study with other cities be undertaken and reported to
the Council within six months.
AYES: Commissioners Duranceau, Schuelke, Remy, Medina,
Tapp and Chairman Berg.
NOES: Commissioner Thompson.
ABSTAIN: None.
ABSENT: None.
6. Planning Director's Status Report.
The Planning Director's Status Report was given in conjunction
with Agenda Item No. 4.
7. Proposed Zoning Ordinance 590 - (Continued Public Hearing).

The Public Hearing was re- opened by the Chairman Pro -Tem.
The Planning Commission continued their review of selected sections
of proposed Ordinance No. 590.
The Public Hearing was continued until an adjourned meeting on
January 24, 1984, at 6:30 P.M., in the City Council Chambers.
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting
was adjourned to 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday, January 24, 1984, in the City
Council Chambers. Time of adjournment 9:20 P.M.
