MINUTES OF
MAY 8, 1984
1. The Beaumont Planning Commission met in a regular meeting at
7:05 P.M., on Tuesday, May 8, 1984, in the City Council Cham-
bers, with Vice - Chairman Schuelke presiding.
2. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was dispensed with.
3. On Roll Call the following Commissioners were present: Remy,
Medina, Tapp, Shaw and Vice - Chairman Schuelke. Commissioner
Thompson and Chairman Berg were excused.
4. The Corrected Minutes of April 17, 1984 were again corrected
to reflect that Commissioner Thompson, rather than Commissioner
Medina, was excused at that meeting. The Minutes of Adjourned
Meeting of April 24, 1984 were approved as submitted.
5. HEARING ITEMS:
a. Miscellaneous Application for Cooling Tower Mezzanine
Platform for Yates Industries. Applicant: Halsey
Machine.
The Acting Planning Director presented the background
information concerning this "fast track" project to
the Planning Commission.
There being no objections, this application was ordered
accepted and filed.
6. Continued Review of Proposed Land Use Ordinance No. 590.
No additional sections being available for review, this agenda
item was continued until the balance of the Ordinance is avail-
able for review.
There being no further business to come before the Commission, on
motion by Commissioner Remy, second by Commissioner Tapp, the
meeting was adjourned at 8:15 P.M.
