Affidavit of Posting. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. 1. Approval of Minutes for the Meeting of the Planning Commission held June 3, 1997. Motion by Commissioner Davis, Seconded by Commissioner Frisch, to approve the minutes as presented. Vote: 5/0 2. Oral Communication. None. Director's Report given by Ernie Egger, Planning Director, on the following items; which will be scheduled for the August 5th meeting: 1. All American Storage may plan to expand their facility. 2. There may be a Public Use Permit coming before the Commission for the re -use of the Beaumont Hotel. Public Hearings: 4. Conditional Use Permit No. 97 -CUP -2 and Negative Declaration No. 97 -ND -2 consideration of a request to develop and operate "Rainbow Cycle Park" through a lease arrangement on 52 acres of City-owned property, south of Fourth Street and west of Viele Avenue. Applicant: Mr. Robert Harvell. Ernie Egger, Planning Director, presented the staff report, a copy of which is on file in the City Clerk's Office. Comments and questions were considered by the Commission from the following individuals: Robert Harvell - 25380 Sultana, Homeland, Ca. - the applicant. Gloria Desart - 1380 Bolo Court Pam Clemons - 29820 Patterson, Winchester - in favor of project. Scott Fish - 13965 Bolo Court - in opposition to the project. Joann Gable - 13815 Bolo Court - in opposition to the project. Nita Little Bear Fish - 13965 Bolo Court - in opposition of the project. Karen Kidd - 13915 Bolo Court - in opposition of the project. Ken Starr - 508 Agnes - in opposition of the project. Motion by Commissioner Deforge, Seconded by Commissioner Frisch to adjourn to the July 1, 1997 meetingfbr continued discussion regard 97- CUP -2, "Rainbow Cycle Park" at the proposed site. Vote 5/0.
