Call to Order: 6:02 p.m.
Roll Call: All Present

Affidavit of Posting.
1. Approval of Minutes from the Regular Meeting of July 7, 1998.
Motion by Commissioner DeForge, Seconded by Commissioner Davis to approve the
minutes of July 7, 1998 as presented. Vote: 5/0
2. Directors Report.
a. Upcoming Ordinances - Adult Oriented Businesses and Modification to
Zoning for Residential-Adult Establishments.
b. Oak Valley Annexation has been finalized and Recorded
c. Saint Clair Company Transaction Closed October 1, 1998 - Standard
Subdivision for retirement.
d. Status on Ultramar Sign - no schedule for completion.
e. In & Out possible interest in future development.
f. Rancho Ready Mix has began grading
3. Oral Communications: none.
4. Scheduled Matters:
a. Time Extension for Tentative Tract Map No. 25272, Northwest Corner
of Cougar Way and Sunnyslope Avenue. Applicant: American Pacific
Financial Corporation
Recommendation: Planning Commission recommeds to the City Council
approval of the final one -year extension of time for Tentative Tract No.
25272.
Staff Report was presented by Planning Director, Ernie Egger, a copy of which is on
file at the City Clerks Office.
Motion by Commissioner DeForge, Seconded by Commissioner Frisch to approve as
recommended. Vote: 5/0
b. Public Use Permit No. 98- PUP -2, Proposed "Potter's House" Church at
1350 E. Eighth Street. Applicant: John Valtierra
Recommendation: Planning Commission Cunduct a Public Hearing to
determine the appropriateness of the use at the subject location. If it is
determined that the use is suitable at this location, it is recommended that
the Commission approve Public Use Permit No. 98- PUP -2, based upon the
findings stipulated herein, subject to the attached conditions of approval.

Closed the Public Hearing at 6:26 p.m.
Motion by Commissioner Frisch, Seconded by Commissioner Dressel to approve as
recommended. Vote 5/0.
