Planning Commission
November 3, 1998
Call to order: 6:02 p.m.
Roll Call: Chairman Salinas, Commissioner Deforge, Commissioner
Frisch, Commissioner Davis, and Commissioner Dressel are all
present.
Pledge of Allegiance.
Affidavit of Posting.
I, Shelby Hanvey certify that the agenda was posted as required by State Law.
1. Approval of Minutes from the Regular Meeting of April 7, 1998 and
October 6, 1998.
Motion by Commissioner Davis, Seconded by Commissioner DeForge to approve the
minutes as presented. Vote: 5/0.
2. Directors Report:
Update on the following:
1. Noble Creek Specific Plan
2. Union Pacific Railroad
3. Loma Linda & Hovchild
3. Oral Communications: None.
4. Scheduled Matters/Public Hearings:
a. Proposed Ordinance Relating to the Regulation of Residential
Care Facilities and Half -Way Houses.
Open the Public Hearing.
Close the Public Hearing.
Staff Report was presented by Ernie Egger, Planning Director, a copy which is on file in
the City Clerks Office.
Motion by Commissioner Davis, Seconded by Commissioner Dressel to recommend to the
City Council adoption of the Ordinance to amend the Municipal Code. Vote: 5/0.
b. Proposed Municipal Code Amendment for the Regulation of
Adult - Oriented Businesses.
Open the Public Hearing.
Close the Public Hearing.
Staff Report was presented by Ernie Egger, Planning Director, a copy which is on file in
the City Clerks Office.
Motion by Commissioner Dressel, Seconded by Commissioner DeForge to recommend to
the City Council adoption of the Ordinance to Establish Regulations for Adult Oriented
businesses. Vote: 5/0.
