RESOLUTION NO.2008-49
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING 2008 PRIMARY ELECTION JUDGES
WHEREAS, City Council approval is required for the selection of election judges; and
WHEREAS, the following individuals have submitted an application to be Election Judges
for the September 9, 2008 Primary Election:
Jodi Wunsch, Election Coordinator Jay Goedderz
Dusty Finke, Assistant Election Leonard Greene
Coordinator Patty Gregor
Pat Velch, Head Election Judge Sandra Herman
John Riley, Head Election Judge Gay Kearin
Dorothy Baer Sally Kitzman
Diann Benson Margaret Miller
Berneice Breithbarth Ellis Olken
Barb Burkstrand Teri Portinen
Debra Dalbec Katie Schmidt
Eleanor Degman Shirley Schneider
Cynthia Dyste Colleen Sivits
Calvin Flaig Ronald VanBuren
Sharrie Flaig Janet White
Bev Fry Wendy Wile
Margaret Garberick Christine Zonneveld
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina that
the above mentioned individuals be approved as election judges for the 2008 Primary Election on
September 9, 2008, with the understanding that amendments may be necessary to the
appointments in order to fill vacancies and meet party splits.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that those election judges whom attend trainings and/or
serve on Election Day be paid as temporary employees a wage of $10.00 per hour with no benefits.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Weir
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Weir, Johnson, Crosby, Cavanaugh, Smith
and the following voted against:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
