D. Joyce Edner — Happy and blessed New Year to each and every one of us and let us count on looking forward to this year being prosperous. 2 I Paulette Bradley — Happy New Year to everyone and 1 wish that everything you want this year you obtain and particular{y good health. I am a member of the Bio-ethics at St. Francis. At last Monday's meeTing I heard some devastating statistics about our community. I was shocked to hear of the poor health in this community and the average age oP the people who died at St. Francis last year was 40. I am sharing this with you because we need to get orc the ball and star[ celebrating our lives. We are walking ourselves to the end by not being responsible. Our exercise classes should be bursting at the seams. We have two knowledgeable instructors that are dedicated to us. If you think you don't have ideas for your center go to other centers and steal some ideas. Chair Lorene Reed — You're right Mrs. Calderon, we did not post the cancelation and 1 apologize for that. In the Newsletter we had the wrong date for the meeting because we have a standard first Wednesday of the - month but at the November meeting we had voted to change it to the second Wednesday of the month due to people going out of town. [f you didn't attend the meeting you would have not known that we changed it. That is an error that will not happen again. In regards to the flyers, we have a process that they have to be approved, we are trying to streamline the process and hopefully we can speed it up a little bit. I wish everyone a Happy New Year. Hope that everyone will try to come up with some ideas to promote and grow the center. We want the attendance to improve. We need things to do in the evening. Adjournment: Member Paulette Bradley made a motion to adjourn, 2n by D. Joyce Edner. By unanimous consent the meeting adjourned at 12:43 p.m. 3
