CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2008-60
RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED TAX LEVY FOR 2009
BE IT RESOLVED, by the city council of the City of Medina, County of Hennepin, Minnesota,
that the following sums of money be proposed for 2009 upon the taxable property in the City of
Medina, for the following purposes: To raise $2,580,289 as adequate revenue for the general fund
operating budget and $144,430 as adequate revenue for debt service.
General Fund: $2,580,289
Debt Service: $ 144,430
Total Levy: $2,724,719
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Administrator, Chad M. Adams, is hereby
instructed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the county auditor of Hennepin County,
Minnesota.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Smith
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Cavanaugh, Smith, Weir, Crosby
and the following voted against same: (Absent: Johnson)

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
