RESOLUTION NO.2008-65
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING 2008 GENERAL ELECTION JUDGES
WHEREAS, City Council approval is required for the selection of election judges; and
WHEREAS, the following individuals have submitted an application to be Election Judges
for the November 4, 2008 General Election:
Jodi Gallup, Election Coordinator
Dusty Finke, Asst. Election Coordinator
Pat Velch, Head Election Judge
John Riley, Head Election Judge
Dorothy Baer
Diann Benson
Berneice Breithbarth
Barb Burkstrand
Mary Byrnes

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina that
the above mentioned individuals be approved as election judges for the 2008 General Election on
November 4, 2008, with the understanding that amendments may be necessary to the
appointments in order to fill vacancies and meet party splits.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that those election judges whom attend trainings and/or
serve on Election Day be paid a wage of $10.00 per hour with no benefits.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Johnson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Weir, Johnson, Smith, Cavanaugh, Crosby
and the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
