HomeMy Public PortalAbout2008-065 Resolution Appointing 2008 General Election JudgesMember Weir introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.2008-65 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING 2008 GENERAL ELECTION JUDGES WHEREAS, City Council approval is required for the selection of election judges; and WHEREAS, the following individuals have submitted an application to be Election Judges for the November 4, 2008 General Election: Jodi Gallup, Election Coordinator Dusty Finke, Asst. Election Coordinator Pat Velch, Head Election Judge John Riley, Head Election Judge Dorothy Baer Diann Benson Berneice Breithbarth Barb Burkstrand Mary Byrnes John Clifford Debra Dalbec Eleanor Degman Cynthia Dyste Calvin Flaig Sharrie Flaig Bev Fry Margaret Garberick Jay Goedderz Leonard Greene Patty Gregor Sandra Herman Gay Kearin Sally Kitzman Mary Liermann Margaret Miller Ellis Olkon Teri Portinen Kathryn Richmond Terry Richmond Katie Schmidt Shirley Schneider Ann Silloway Colleen Sivits Jeanne Sorensen Ronald VanBuren Donald Verbick Mary Verbick Janet White Bruce Whitehead Wendy Wile Jim Wilson Christine Zonneveld NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina that the above mentioned individuals be approved as election judges for the 2008 General Election on November 4, 2008, with the understanding that amendments may be necessary to the appointments in order to fill vacancies and meet party splits. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that those election judges whom attend trainings and/or serve on Election Day be paid a wage of $10.00 per hour with no benefits. Dated: October 7, 2008 s T.M.
