MINUTES OF OCTOBER 17, 2016
The meeting was called to order at 3:40pm by Chairman David Light. Present were David Light, Barbara
Dean,Judy Scanlon,and Steve Ellis.
The minutes of September 12 were approved by a vote of 3-0-1.
The Council reviewed the Putnam Farm Growers'Agreement and Putnam Farm Release that it had
approved and recommended in 2014.The documents were again approved with one change.The
annual recommended fee was raised from$125.00 to$200.00 as moved by Ellis and seconded by Dean,
passed by a vote of 4-0-0.
Judy Scanlon reported that the Conservation Administrator had informed her that the draft request for
the Putnam easement had been accepted for consideration by The County Commission.
Council members raised several questions that might be germane were the easement at some time in
the future to be approved:Should dogs be kept out?What about fencing? Herbicides?
Meeting adjourned at 4:15 by a vote of 4-0-0.
