CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2009-01
RECOGNIZING JOE CAVANAUGH FOR FOUR YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY
OF MEDINA
WHEREAS, Joe Cavanaugh has completed four years of dedicated service to the City of
Medina; and
WHEREAS, Cavanaugh has served as a member of the City Council from 2005 through
2008; and
WHEREAS, throughout Councilmember Cavanaugh's service to the City of Medina
several significant projects have taken place including:
The Uptown Hamel Redevelopment District and infrastructure improvements;
The City's 2010-2030 Comprehensive Plan and accompanying Open Space
Report;
Development of the Medina Clydesdale Marketplace (Target) project;
Construction of the Hamel Water Treatment Facility;
Completion of a Future Fire Services Report; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Cavanaugh provided leadership and guidance on the long-
term planning of the City's needs, resources, finances and capital improvement plans; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Medina
acknowledges and thanks Councilmember Cavanaugh for his years of service to the community.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Weir
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Johnson, Weir, Crosby, Smith, Siitari
And the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
