SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS -
MEETING OF JUNE 14,2017
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Commission) actions from their regular meeting of June 14 , 2017 .
BACKGROUND:
On June 14, 2017 , the Commission held the ir regularly scheduled meeting .
ANALYSIS:
Following is a summary of actions taken at the June 14, 2017 , meeting :
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioner -Clift, Redmond , Stratis, Vice-Chairman Blatt,
Chairman Nimri
Absent: Commissioner-None
Excused : Commissioner-None
2 . CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes of their May 10,2017 , meeting.

3 . PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held five hearings in person . Four citations were upheld and one
citation was dismissed .
The Commissio n held three hearings by written declaration . Two citations were
upheld and one citation was dismissed .
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reporting the Transportation and Pub lic Safety Commission Actions furthers the City's
Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2017-18 City Budget.
