Comm ission (Co mmiss ion) actions from th ei r regula r meeting of August 9, 201 7 .
BACKGROUND:
On August 9, 2017 , the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting .
ANALYSIS:
Fo ll owing is a sum m ary of actions taken at the A ugust 9 , 201 7, meeting :

2 . CONSENT CALEN DAR
The Commiss ion approved the minutes of th eir June 14 and July 12 , 2017 ,
meetings .

3 . PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held five hearings in person . One citation was upheld and four
citations were dismissed .
The Commission held four hearings by written declaration . Two citations were
upheld and two citations were dismissed .
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reporting the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City's
Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication .
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2017-18 City Budget.
