SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS —
MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 13, 2017
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Commission) actions from their regular meeting of September 13, 2017.
BACKGROUND:
On September 13, 2017, the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting.
ANALYSIS:
Following is a summary of actions taken at the September 13, 2017, meeting:
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioner— Kwan, Nimri, Palmieri, Vice -Chairman Clift,
Chairman Blatt
Absent: Commissioner — None
Excused: Commissioner—None
2. CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes of the August 9, 2017 meeting.

3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held five hearings in person. Two citations were upheld and three
citations were dismissed.
The Commission held five hearings by written declaration. Five citations were
upheld.
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reporting the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City's
Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2017-18 City Budget.
