Dear Ms. Exley:
As you know, the City of Tybee filed a complaint to abate a nuisance, and after a hearing,
was granted an Order to demolish the house located at 142 Lewis Ave. This is a courtesy letter
to let you know that we have recently received back bids for demolishing the house and the price
appears to be around $12,000.00. This is in addition to other costs accrued including attorney's
fees and other expenses. During this process the City may have mentioned what the City thought
would be the cost of demolition, but now we have a more definite number, which is why we are
providing you with this courtesy letter.
These costs will constitute a lien against the property. If you have any questions,please
do not hesitate to call.
