CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2009-23
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
CHERRY HILL NEIGHBORHOOD MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous actions by the city council, city staff has prepared plans
and specifications for the mill and overlay improvements for Cherry Hill Drive, Cherry Hill Alcove,
Cherry Hill Bay and Cherry Hill Court and has presented such plans and specifications to the
council for approval.
WHEREAS, a resolution of the city council adopted on March 17, 2009, fixed a date for
the council hearing on the proposed mill and overlay of Cherry Hill Drive, Cherry Hill Alcove,
Cherry Hill Bay and Cherry Hill Court and replacement of curb and gutter where existing curb is
damaged; and
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was
given and the hearing was held on April 21, 2009, at which hearing all persons desiring to be heard
were given an opportunity to have heard thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, are hereby adopted.
2. The above -described improvement is necessary, cost effective and feasible as
detailed in the feasibility report.
3. The improvement is hereby ordered as proposed.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Smith and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Weir, Smith, Johnson, Crosby, Siitari
And the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
