CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2009-38
RESOLUTION APPROVING OFF -SITE GAMBLING PERMIT FOR THE
CORCORAN JAYCEES TO CONDUCT LAWFUL CHARITABLE GAMBLING
AT 500 HIGHWAY 55, MEDINA, MN 55340
WHEREAS, the Corcoran Jaycees ("Applicant") has made application to the City of
Medina for "Off -Site Gambling" to conduct charitable gambling activities under authority and
regulation of Minnesota Statute 349.16; and
WHEREAS, said premises permit will be for charitable gambling activities to be
conducted at the Medina Entertainment Center located at 500 Highway 55 within the city; and
WHEREAS, Applicant understands that this license prohibits conducting charitable
gambling activities at any other location not stated herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Medina, Minnesota
that the Applicant's request to conduct off -site gambling be granted, effective for a single day
event on August 21, 2009.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Smith
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Crosby, Siitari, Smith
and the following voted against same: (Absent: Johnson, Weir)
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
