SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS -
MEETING OF NOVEMBER 8, 2017 .
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requ ested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Com mission ) actions from their regular meeting of Novembe r 8, 2017 .
BACKGROUND:
On November 8 , 2017, the Commission he ld their regularly scheduled meeting .
ANALYSIS:
The following is a summary of actions taken at the November 8, 2017 , meeting :
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioner-Kwan, Nimri , Palmieri , Vice-Chairman Clift,
Chairman Blatt
Absent: Commissioner-None
Excused: Commissioner -None
2 . CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes of the October 25 , 2017 meeting .

3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held ten hearings in person . Nine citations were upheld and one
citation was dismissed.
The Commission held three hearings in written declaration . Three citations were
upheld .
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reporting the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City's
Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication .
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2017-18 City Budget.
