Mayor Sternquist called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 12:25 p .m. in
the Council Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue , Temple City.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmember-Chavez, Fish, Yu , Man, Sternquist
ABSENT: Councilmember -None
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Cook, Community Development Director
Forbes, Administrative Services Director Hause, Parks and
Recreation D irector Burroughs, City Clerk Kuo, and
Assistant to the City Manager/Economic Development
Manager Haworth
3. PUBLIC COMMENTS -None
4. NEW BUSINESS
A. Review of the Strategic Plan
City Council is requested to discuss and review the Strategic Plan's m ission
statement, vision statement, values and strategic goals .
City Manager Cook gave an overview of the current Strategic Plan mission
statement, vision statement, values and strateg ic goals.
City Council commented on the current mission statement, vision statement,
values and strategic goals. City Council also provided input for updating the
mission statement, vision statement, values and strategic goals.
Councilmember Chavez left the meeting at 12:48 p.m . and returned at 12:48 p.m .
City Council will provide some topics and subjects/programs that should be
prioritized for the next several years by December 16.
