SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS -
MEETING OF DECEMBER 13, 2017.
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Commission) actions from their regular meeting of December 13, 2017.
BACKGROUND:
On December 13, 2017 the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting.
ANALYSIS:
The following is a summary of actions taken at the December 13, 2017, meeting:
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioner-Kwan, Nimri, Palmieri , Vice-Chairman Clift ,
Chairman Blatt
Absent: Commissioner-None
Excused: Commissioner-None
2. CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes of the November 8, 2017 meeting .

3 . PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held ten hearings in person. Five citations were upheld and four
citations were dismissed . One citation was continued to the next regular meeting.
The Commission held three hearings in written declaration. One citation was
dismissed and two citations were upheld.
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reporting the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City's
Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2017-18 City Budget.
