CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 2009-53
RECOGNIZING MARY VERBICK FOR SERVICE TO THE CITY OF MEDINA
PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Verbick has served as a member of the City Planning Commission from
March 2001 through August 2009; and
WHEREAS, Verbick served as Planning Commission Chair in 2007; and
WHEREAS, throughout Verbick's service to the City of Medina several significant land -
use projects have taken place including:
The Medina Highlands Development;
The Bridgewater at Lake Medina Development;
The Gramercy at Elm Creek Development;
The Uptown Hamel Redevelopment District;
The Medina Clydesdale Marketplace (Target) Development;
The City's 2010-2030 Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, Verbick has provided leadership and been an advocate of implementing
sustainable initiatives in land -use developments; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Medina
acknowledges and thanks Mary Verbick for her years of service to the community.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Johnson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Weir, Johnson, Crosby, Siitari, Smith
and the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
