Mike Wiess called the meeting to order at 12:07 PM.
Public Comment: None.
Approval of Minutes from April 4, 2019: At Mr. Scherer's request due to the detailed content
of the Gem Air item at the previous meeting, the Chair asked Gem Air if they had any concerns
with the minutes. Jo Schroeder indicated no concerns. Mark Thorien made a motion to accept
the April 4, 2019 regular meeting minutes which was seconded by Rick Fereday and passed
unanimously.
Gem Air Commercial Lease: A parking solution was developed however, several changes to
between the 2018 lease and the 2019 lease were discussed. Specific topics were use of
conference room space, furnishing leased space, lessee attendance while customers are present.
Rick Fereday provided input that fair commercial lease rate was $.90-$1.00/ sf. Changes were
discussed, made and agreed upon. A motion was made by Mark Thorien to recommend approval
of the amended lease to Council was seconded by Rick Fereday and was passed unanimously.
Code Revision- Airport Zoning Update: Mr. Scherer presented the GIS developed drawings of
the overlay airspaces suggested by the FAA and Idaho Department of Transportation. The
committee requested Mr. Scherer create a draft use table for further consideration.
Triangle Hangars: Mr. Scherer hadn't had time to develop drawings for consideration. A
working group to develop the plan is to be scheduled for Thurs the 9`h and invitations sent to
hangar owners and interested parties.
Three Month Calendar Review: The three-month calendar was reviewed to include the Airport
Open House on July 6, 2019.
Motion to adjourn was made by Mark Thorien and seconded by Rick Fereday which passed
unanimously. The Committee adjourned at 1:07PM
