AMENDL'lG & SUPPLEMENTL'lG CHAPTER 235, ARTICLE II, ENTITLED
"LIMOUSINES" OF THE CODE OF THE 'BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of

Carteret (the "Borough") as follows:

~235-16 A (I) is hereby amended to read as follows with the
balance of sub-paragraphs (a) and (b) thereofto remain unchanged:
Application for licenses for limonsines shall be made by the
owners thereof upon such fOrIns, and containing such requested
infonnation, as are prepared and issued by the Borough Clerk from
time to time to contain, but not be limited to, the following
information:
~235-16 B, "Limousine driver's license," is hereby amended to
provide that said applicant therefor must be at least "21 years of
age" with the balance of said sub-section remaining.
~235-19 A, "Limousine owner's license/' is hereby amended to
provide that in addition to the initial $50 dollar fee for each
limousine service owner's license there shall be an additional fee
of$10 for each limousine which is covered under the required
insurance policy.
~235-14 B(2) is hereby amended to read in relevant part", , ,
certification tbat, regardless of the zone, the limousine business has
sufficient off-street parking. . . ."
All ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provision of
this ordinance are hereby repealed limited to the extent of any
such inconsistency.
If any section, paragraph, sub-division, clause or provision of this
ordinance is adjndged invalid, such adjudication shan appiy only to
the section, paragraph, sub-division, clause or provision so
adjudged and the remainder of this ordinance shall be deemed
valid and effective.
This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication
according to applicable law,
