AMENDMENT OF
RESOLUTION OF 'INTENT TO AWARD CONTRACT
This Amendment to Resolution is an amendment to the
Resolution resolved on the 20th day of January, 1956, by
the City Council of the City of Meab, Utah, for the drill-
ing and construction of a water well as described in the
Specifioationa and Contract Documents.
WHEREAS, bids for the drilling and construction of a
water well as described in the Specifications and Contract
Documents relating to Water and Sewer Facilities, Federal
Housing and Home Finance Agency Projeot No. Utah 42-4F-1,
were publicly opened and read in Moab City, Utah, on January
20, 1956, as advertised and in oompliance with the terms of
th= above said Contract Documenta; and
WHEREAS, the tabulation for bids opened and read on the
said 000asion, as reviewed and approved by the Moab City
Engineer and the Moab City Attorney, a certified copy of which
tabulation of bids is attached hereto and by reference made
a part of this reeolation, showed the bid of ELDON COMER,
Contractor, Lehi, Utah, to be the low bid; the total bid
price of ELDON COMER, Contractor, being as follows:
For a 16" well
For a 14n well
For a 12" well

AND WHEREAS, in the event the 16" well cannot be com-
pleted by the Contractor because of difficulties enoountered
in drilling, that he will proceed to complete the well on the

14" bid prioe, and that in the event that neither the 16" nor
the 14" well cannot be completed by the Contractor, that he
will proceed to complete the well on the 12n bid price, auoh
prooedure being the aooustomed practice followed in the well
drilling trade.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
Moab.City, Utah, that it is the will and intent of the said
Counoil that a contract for drilling and construotion of a
water well as described in the above said Specifications
and Contract Documents, be let and awarded to the said
ELDON COMER, Contractor, Lehi, Utah, in accordance with the
bid proposal of the said contractor and pursuant upon the
concurrence of the above aaid Agency of the Federal Govern-
ment.
