Member DesLauriers introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-67
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM DICK AVERY MEMORIAL
WHEREAS, the Dick Avery Memorial generously offered to donate a check in the amount
of $50 to the City of Medina (the “City”); and
WHEREAS, the Donation will be dedicated to the City’s Police Department Crime
Prevention Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to accept the Donation and express its gratitude to the Dick
Avery Memorial for his generosity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota that the City accepts the Donation and thanks the Dick Avery Memorial.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Cavanaugh and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Albers, Cavanaugh, DesLauriers, Martin
And the following voted against same: (Absent: Reid)
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
