A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
SANBORN AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER 4011.67.868
AS BEING COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PROCESS
THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on June 1, 2010, the City Council of the City of Lynwood awarded
the Sanborn Avenue Improvement Project contract to D.P. Mangan, dba Pave West in
the amount of $212,750; and
WHEREAS, the project started on August 9, 2010 and was completed on
October 8, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded through the Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG); and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $186,920.48; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on October 8,
2010 and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the Sanborn
Avenue Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.868 as complete in accordance with
contract documents; and authorizes the City Engineer to process the recordation of the
Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1 day of February, 2011.
