Public Notice
The city council of the city of Medina has adopted Ordinance No. 474, an ordinance
establishing the Mixed Use zoning district. The ordinance establishes lot standards and
development standards for this new district, which will regulate future development on property
which has been identified by the City's 2010-2030 Comprehensive Plan as Mixed Use. Property so
identified will be re -zoned into this new zoning district through a separate process in the future.
When this is to occur, property owners and neighbors will be notified for the public hearing.
The Mixed Use zoning district allows flexibility in the mix of residential and commercial uses,
while requiring high quality development and design which serves as a transition between more
intensive highway oriented uses and less intensive low density residential uses.
The full text of Ordinance No. 474 is available from the city administrator -clerk at Medina city hall
during regular business hours.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina that the city
administrator -clerk keep a copy of the ordinance in his office at city hall for public inspection and
