HomeMy Public PortalAbout2011.030 (02-01-11) RESOLUTION NO. 2011.030 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ENTERING INTO A FIVE YEAR RIGHT OF ENTRY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE CALIFORNIA MILITARY DEPARTMENT FOR EMPLOYEE PARKING PURPOSES AT THE LYNWOOD ARMORY WHEREAS, The Armory, which is adjacent to the City Annex Building is vacant; and WHEREAS, An opportunity exists for the City to enter into a right of entry agreement to provide City vehicle and employee parking only; and WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood and the California Military Department mutually agree to the terms and conditions of the agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute a five year Armory right of entry agreement, approved as to form by the City Attorney, for employee parking purposes with the California Military Department. Section 2. The right of entry agreement will be funded by Account 4011.67.905. Section 3. That the Council authorizes the following purchase orders. Fiscal Year Purchase Order Amount 2010-2011 $5,700 2011-2012 $4,200 2012-2013 $4,200 2013-2014 $4,200 2014-2015 $4,200 Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
