HomeMy Public PortalAbout2010-017 Resolution Granting Ext. of Time to File Final Plat for Hamel CommonsMember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.2010-17 RESOLUTION GRANTING EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE FINAL PLAT FOR HAMEL COMMONS AMENDING RESOLUTION 2009-43 WHEREAS, on July 21, 2009, the city of Medina adopted Resolution 2009-43, granting approval to DW Holdings, Inc. (the "Applicant") of preliminary and final plat to combine parcels located at 32 Hamel Road, 36 Hamel Road, and 42 Hamel Road (the "Subject Property") which is legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto; and WHEREAS, under the terms of said resolution, approval was valid for a period of 120 days from July 21, 2009, and WHEREAS, on November 17, 2009, the City adopted Resolution 2009-69, granting the Applicant an extension until March 15, 2010 in order to meet the terms and conditions of approval and to file the plat, and WHEREAS, the Applicant has requested an additional extension of 180 days in order to meet the terms and conditions of approval and to file the plat, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The final plat must be filed with the County Recorder by September 11, 2010 or the final plat shall be considered void, unless a written request for time extension is submitted by the Applicant and approved prior to the deadline by the City Council. 2.
