AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8-24 OF THE
GREENCASTLE CITY CODE REGARDING
SCHEDULE OF RESERVED PARKING SPACES
WHEREAS, Section 8 -24 of the Greencastle City Code lists the reserved parking spaces
within the City of Greencastle;
WHEREAS, currently, there are two spaces located on Franklin Street at the corner of
Indiana Street reserved for users and patrons of the Senior Center from 11:00a.m. until 1:00 P.M.
Monday through Friday, and in fact, the spaces are needed from 9:00a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday
through Friday.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle that
Section 8 -24, Schedule of Reserved Parking Spaces, is hereby amended to change the following
subsection:
, file times listed in the subsection reserving two (2) spaces for the Senior Citizens
Center shall be changed from "11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m." to 11 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m."
NOW "THEREFORE be it further ordained that all other language in Section 8 -24 not
specifically amended hereby shall remain in full force and effect.
This Ordinance shall have frill force and effect upon passage of the Greencastle Common
Council and its approval by the Mayor.
