CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2010-23
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR ROAD MATERIALS AND MILLING
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement, bids for 2010 road materials and milling were
received, opened and tabulated according to law; and the bids received, which complied with the
advertisement, are listed on Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Midwest Asphalt Corp. of Hopkins is the lowest responsible
bidder for road materials and milling.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The mayor and the city administrator -clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into a contract in the name of the city with Midwest Asphalt Corp. of Hopkins
for road materials and milling.
2. The city administrator -clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the
successful bidders and the next lowest bidders shall be retained until contracts have
been signed.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Smith
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Weir, Smith, Crosby, Johnson, Siitari
And the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
