Seton Lindsay Vice Mayor W " 11 N. J. Clarke Town Clerk if if Wm.J. Bauer Commissioner S.B. Iglehart " Harold J. Roig The minutes of the meeting held on December 8th,1952 were read, and ypon motion duly made and seconded, were unanimously approved and ordered filed. Chief L. W. Cooper made a report in general. Commissioner Bauer reported to the meeting that arrangements had been made with E. Glass truck driver, whereby he would be paid $1.15 per hour. Commissioner Bauer reported tl.at he and Cheif Cooper had not as yet made a might check on Street lighting. Town Clerk Bauer reported that 1953 Pontiac Car to be used as meeting held December 8th,1952. an order had been placed for a a Police Car as approved at the The Bank balance as of January 9th,1953 was reported as $123323.29. The Commissioners aonrovedthe payment of the attached list of bills, as paid by check numbers #1195 to #1227 inclusive. Tex Collector Bauer made a report on Income and Expense from Water Sales. Upon motion by Commissioner Iglehart, Seconded by Commissioner Clarke, an ordinate creating a Town Planning Board was unanimously passed on its first reading, copy of which is attached hereto. Flllowing discussion, The Commissioners unanimously approved the revision of a Town Ordinance setting forth the costs of Permit Fees for Construction or alteration of buildings and other repairs or improvements. The Commissioners were in favor of charging for Fees the same as set forth in an Ordinance of the Town of Palm Beach, Florida, which are as follows: $2.00 per one thousand dollars up to a maximum fee of $250.00 No fee to be less than a minimum of $5.00 It was unanimously voted and approved that the Jail of the City of Delray Beach, Florida be officially designated as the Jail for the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida. Upon lenghty discussion the entire Commission voted.and approved that Speeding and Reckless driving within the Town limits be curbed. The Commissioners voted and instructed the Town Policemen to stop all motorists exceeding the speed limits and to issue Traffic Bonds in the amount of $25.00.
