Present , Member G . Howard Hayes ; Deputy Assessor James Gallagher
Participating Remotely via Speaker Phone , Chair Belinda Eyestone
Not Present : Member Diane Salomone
Call to Order : Mr . Hayes called the meeting to order at 5 : 46pm ,
In accordance with the Town of Brewster Remote Participation Policy, Mr . Hayes announced
that Belinda Eyestone would be participating remotely by speaker phone due to an emergency .
1 . Report of the Deputy Assessor : Mr. Gallagher reported that the tax classification was held
on September 10, 2018 with the Select Board and a single tax rate was adopted . All FY2019
tax rate forms have been submitted to and approved by the Department of Revenue and the
FY2019 tax rate has been set at $ 8 . 58/$ 1 , 000 .

Due to remote participation and inability to review, no action was taken on the minutes ,
3 . Topics the Chair did not reasonably anticipate : none
Executive Session (To comply with or act under the authority of, any general or special law or
federal grant-in-aid requirements ; MGL Chap , 59 Sec . 60 and MGL Chap . 214 Sec. 113)
At 5 : 48pm Ms . Eyestone made the motion to go into Executive Session for the reason noted
above, not to return to regular session. Mr. Hayes seconded the motion, Roll call vote : Hayes —
Aye; Eyestone — Aye; approved unanimously.
