MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS
Date : October 22 , 2018 — Regular Session

Present : Chair Belinda Eyestone ; Member G . Howard Hayes ; Deputy Assessor James
Gallagher
Not Present : Member Diane Salomone
Call to Order : Ms . Eyestone called the meeting to order at 5 : 45pm .
1 . Report of the Deputy Assessor : Mr . Gallagher reported on office staffing and supplemental
billing . Supplemental billing will become a future agenda item .
2 . Review Select Board ' s Draft "Public Engagement Policy" : The board reviewed the
policy and had no additional comment.
3 . Real Estate Abatements under MGL Chapter 59 §72A :
Parcel ID 99 - 1 - 0 ; Mr . Hayes Moved to issue abatement as calculated by the
Treasurer/Collector, Ms . Eyestone seconded motion, approved unanimously
Parcel IDs 9 - 37 - 0 ; 9 - 38 - 0 ; 9 - 39 - 0 ; 940 - 0 ; Ms . Eyestone moved to issue abatements as
calculated by the Deputy Assessor, Mr. Hayes seconded motion, approved unanimously .
4 . Classified Land Applications (Chapter 61 , 61A & 61B)
Ms . Eyestone moved to approve the list of Classified Land Applications as recommended by
the Deputy Assessor . Mr . Hayes seconded motion, approved unanimously.
Ms . Eyestone moved to issue a new Lien statement for Kevin Casey & Judith A. Casey on
Cranview Road due to a family transfer of Classified Land , Mr . Hayes seconded the motion,
approved unanimously .
5 . Review and approve Regular Session Meeting Minutes
• June 26 , 2018 : Ms . Eyestone moved to approve, Mr . Hayes seconded, approved
unanimously .
• August 28 , 2018 : Ms . Eyestone moved to approve, Mr . Hayes seconded, approved
unanimously .
• September 19 , 2018 : Ms . Eyestone moved to approve, Mr . Hayes seconded,
approved unanimously .
6 . Topics the Chair did not reasonably anticipate : none

Executive Session (To comply with or act under the authority of, any general or special law or
federal grant-in- aid requirements : MGL Chap . 59 Sec . 60 and MGL Chap . 214 Sec . 1B)
At 5 : 56pm Ms . Eyestone made the motion to go into Executive Session for the reason noted
above, not to return to regular session. Mr . Hayes seconded the motion. Roll call vote : Hayes —
Aye ; Eyestone — Aye ; approved unanimously .
