A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE FY 11 BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the FY 11 Budget on June 1, 2010; and
WHEREAS, since the adoption of the FY 11 Budget, staff found that it is
necessary to make adjustments to certain funds to avoid disruption to services; and
WHEREAS, these budget adjustments provide for increased revenue estimates
in anticipation of incoming revenues; increased expenditures with available revenues;
reduction of expenditures to match estimated revenues to avoid General Fund subsidy;
and compliance with the State mandated SERAF payment.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the following budget adjustments:
FY 11

available revenues.
CIP- Project 869 $541,843 $492,204 Reduce transfers out relating to Prop
1 B reduction.
Traffic Safety Fund $1,149,934 $1,879,005 Increase transfers in from Gas Tax
Fund.
CIP - Project 984 $53,287 $0 Decrease expenditures to match
available revenues from Street
Lighting Fund.
Street Lighting Fund $53,287 $0 Decrease transfers out as a result of
the decrease in CIP expenditures.
Homeless Prevention $300,000 $330,000 Increase expenditures.
Rapid Housing
SERAF 0 $410,394 Increase expenditures for Area A Tax
Increment to meet State mandate.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15 day of February, 2011.
