CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2010-76
A RESOLUTION APPROVING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND DECLARING THE
RESULTS OF THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 2, 2010
WHEREAS, a Municipal Election was held at the General Election on Tuesday,
November 2, 2010, to vote on the offices of Mayor and two 4-year Council Members and the
official returns of the election judges were presented; and
WHEREAS, said returns were duly examined, approved, and placed on file in the Office
of the City Clerk; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina
that it is hereby found, determined, and declared that the Regular Municipal Election held in and
for the City of Medina on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 was in all respects duly held and the
returns thereof have been duly canvassed, the votes cast at said election were:
MAYOR, Two-year term, beginning the first Monday of January 2011.
Thomas M. Crosby Jr. Received 1336 Votes
Bruce Workman Received 948 Votes
Write -Ins Received 5 Votes
Undervotes Received 238 Votes
Overvotes Received 0 Votes
Total 2527 Votes
COUNCIL MEMBER, Four-year term, Two Seats, beginning the first Monday of
January 2011.
Scott Turner Received 1086 Votes
Jeff Pederson Received 1248 Votes
Melissa Martinson Received 1234 Votes
Write -Ins Received 20 Votes
Undervotes Received 1462 Votes
Overvotes Received 4 Votes
Total 5054 Votes

There were 3,301 registered voters at 7:00 a.m. 205 persons registered to vote on
Election Day.

IT IS HEREBY FOUND AND DECLARED that the following candidates for office of Mayor

respective terms are as follows:

COUNCIL MEMBER (4 year term) .Jeff Pederson
COUNCIL MEMBER (4 year term) Melissa Martinson

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Siitari
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
