HomeMy Public PortalAbout088-1998 - Grant - WCFORDINANCE NO. 88-1998 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE WAYNE COUNTY FOUNDATION WHEREAS, the Wayne County Foundation has grant funding available for various purposes; and WHEREAS, the Human Rights Commission has submitted a grant application in order to purchase a computer, a transcriber, a scanner, and a fax machine. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: 1. The grant application submitted by the Human Rights Commission to the Wayne County Foundation for the purchase of a computer, a transcriber, a scanner, and a fax machine is hereby authorized. 2. The Human Rights Commission is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Two Thousand Ninety-four Dollars and Seventy-five Cents ($2,094.75). 3. Said funds, if awarded to the Human Rights Commission, shall be appropriated for the purchase of a computer, a transcriber, a scanner, and a fax machine.
