HomeMy Public PortalAbout2010-081 Resolution Establishing Municipal State Aid StreetsMember Smith introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.2010-81 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS WHEREAS, the city of Medina (the "City") is a municipal corporation, organized and existing under the laws of Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Medina (the "Council") has determined that the streets hereinafter described should be designated Municipal State Aid ("MSA") Streets under the provisions of Minnesota Law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA, that the roadways described below and shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto, are estabished, located, and designated as Municipal State Aid Streets of the City of Medina, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota: MSAS # Street Name Termini 101 Hamel Road Pinto Drive (CSAH 115) to Tower Drive 102 Tower Drive Pinto Drive (CSAH 115) to Hamel Road 103 Hackamore Road Pinto Drive (CR 116) to CSAH 101 104 Meander Road Arrowhead Drive to Pinto Drive (CR 116) 105 Prairie Drive Pioneer Trail to Arrowhead Drive (CR 118) 106 Chippewa Road Willow Drive to Arrowhead Drive 107 Tomahawk Trail Hamel Road (CSAH 115) to Pioneer Trail 108 Chippewa Road Medina Street (CR 19) to Pioneer Trail 109 unnamed street Medina Steet (CR 19) to Pioneer Trail 110 Pioneer Trail TH 55 to Hamel Road (CSAH 115) 111 Willow Drive TH 55 to northern City limits 112 Arrowhead Drive TH 55 to Chippewa Road 113 Rolling Hills Road TH 55 to northern City limits BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Administrator -Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for consideration, and that upon the Commissioner's approval of the designation of each street or portion thereof, each shall be constructed, improved, and maintained as a Municipal State Aid Street of the City of Medina to be numbered and known as described in the table above.
