RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of Jund 1954, Moab City duly passed Ordinance No.
44 entitled "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO THE SUB-
DIVISION OF LAND: DEFINING THE TERM "SUBDIVISION" FOR THE PURPOSES OF
THIS ORDINANCE; ESTABLISHING A PROCED1IRE FOR THE APPROVAL OF PLATS;
ESTABLISHING MINIMUM STANDARDS OF DESIGN; PROVIuliry PENALTIES FOR THE
VIOLATION THEREOF: AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY" and, whereas on the 7th
day of May, 1957, Moab City duly passed and adopted Ordinance No. 85-57 entitled
"AN ORDINANCE REPEALING Tr1H1 ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ESTAB-
LISHING REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO THE SUBDIVISION OF LAND, MOAB CITY,
UTAH", .ADOPTED AND APPROVED JUNE 2, 1954; ESTABLISHING NEW REGULATION!
ERT INING TO THE SUBDIVISION OF LAND: PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE
VIOLATION THEREOF. AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.", and
WHEREAS, certain persons have purported fo cubdivide land within the corporate
limits of Moab City, Utah, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 44 which has been
repealed as aforesaid, have not completed the things required by Ordinance No. 44.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That sui..,ivisions of land which have been commenced under the provisions of
Ordinance No. 44 as aforesaid and which are not fully completed pursuant to said Ordin-
ance No. 44 on or before July 1, 1959, shall be deemed to have been abandoned and shall
not be approved by Moab City as valid subdivision by virtue of any Ordinance of Moab City
or by virtue of once having had preliminary approval by Moab City or the Moab City Plann-
ing Commission or both.
Notice of this resolution shall be given to all persons, firms or corporations having
an interest in any such subdivision as aforesaid by publication in the Moab Times Independ-
ent, a newspaper of general circulation in Grand County, Utah, and by mailing a copy
hereof by registered mail to each person shown of record as the owner of any such subdivis-
ion at the last known address of such persons.
