DIRECTmG THE ISSUANCE OF A RAFFLE LICENSE TO KNIGHTS
OF COLUMBUS-FR CAREY COUNCIL #1280, MAYOR DANIEL J.
REIMAJ'I'S CIDLDRENS CHARITY TRUST FUND, OLIVIA RAE
V ARGAS FOUNDATION INC. Ai\'I) ST. JOSEPH SCHOOL HSA
WHEREAS, application has been properly made to the Mayor and Council of
the Borough of Carteret by Knights of Columhus - FR Carey Council #1280,
1\-la)'or Daniel J. Reiman's Childl'ens Charity Trust Fund, Olivia Rae Vargas
Foudalion Inc. and St. Joseph School HSA and
WHEREAS, it appears that the applicants are qualified to be liceru;ed and the
members designated to conduct RAFFLES and to assist are bona fide members
of the applicant; and
WHEREAS, tbe applicants have signified that the games will be played in
accordance with Rules 6, 7 and 8 of the Legalized Games of Chance Control
Commission's Regulations; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AJ'ID IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the
Mayor and Council ofthe Borough of Carterel, that the Municipal Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to execute the endorsement of the Mayor and Council by
issuing proper presentation of application and fees, a RAFFLE LICENSE to the
applicants;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution be sent
forthwith to the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission, P.O. Box
46000, Newark, New Jersey 07101.

I hereby certify that this Resolution is a tme copy of the original
adopted by the Mayor and Couaeil ofthe Borough of Carteret, County of
Middlesex State of New Jersey, at the Council Meeting held on
August 19. 2010.
