AN ORDINANCE OFTHE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELINQUISHING A CERTAIN
EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES ACROSS LOT 19 OF STONEHILL
SUBDIVISION, SECTION THREE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, by an easement recorded In Plat Book 12, Page 014, of the Records of the Cole
County, Missouri, a sewer easement was granted to the City of Jefferson, a
Municipal Corporation, to excavate within, install, construct, maintain and repair
structures for the routing and conveyance of sewer in, under and through the
lots, tracts or parcels of land described In Section 1;
Section 1. The Council finds that the following described easement is surplus property
of the City and is no longer needed for any public purpose:
Vacate an existing 10 foot wide sanitary sewer easement lying 5 feet either
side of the following described centerline across part of Lot 19 of STONEHILL,
SECTION THREE, in the City of Jefferson, per plat of record in Plat Book 12,
Page 014, Cole County Recorder's Office, more particularly described as
follows:
• From the most northerly corner of the aforesaid Lot 19, STONEHILL,
SECTION THREE; thence S33 040'50"W, to a manhole at Station 22+50
Moreau River Tanner Bridge Extension, 92.32 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING for this description;thence S21°03'23"E,to a manhole at Station
19+50 Moreau River Tanner Bridge Extension, 337.99 feet to the POINT OF
TERMINATION.
Section 2. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby relinquished, and the City
does hereby release and abandon whatever Interest it has in the easement.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any necessary
legal document relinquishing all of the City's Interest in the tract of ground described in Section
1.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval,
