CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2011-05
RESOLUTION ADOPTING A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT
REGARDING THE FUTURE LAND USE OF
CERTAIN PROPERTIES GENERALLY LOCATED NORTHEAST OF
THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY 55 AND ARROWHEAD DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City of Medina (the "City") has adopted a comprehensive plan pursuant
to Minn. Stat. 462.355, 473.175 and 473.851 to 473.871 to regulate development and land use
within the community (the "Plan"); and
WHEREAS, on November 8, 2010, the City adopted Resolution 2010-74, which
approved an amendment to the Plan to change the Future Land Use designation of certain properties
generally located northeast of the intersection of Highway 55 and Arrowhead Drive; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 2010-74 stated that the amendment to the Plan shall not become
effective until approved by the Metropolitan Council and formally adopted by the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, on December 27, 2010, the amendment to the Plan was approved by the
Metropolitan Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the city council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota, that the Comprehensive Plan amendment as identified in Resolution 2010-74 is
hereby adopted and in effect.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Pederson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Crosby, Martinson, Pederson, Weir
And the following voted against same: (Absent: Siitari)
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
