AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH LOUIS S. IZENBERG OF IZENBERG APPRAISAL ASSOCIATES
\VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional appraisal services with regard to
commercial real estate tax appeals within the Borough of Carteret; and
\VHEREAS, Louis S. Izenberg of Izenherg Appraisal Associates, 205 Main Street, Chatham,
NJ 07928 possesses the requisite training, experience and expertise to provide said professional
appraisal services; and
\VHEREAS, Louis S. Izenberg has proposed to perform the above services at a cost not to
exceed $300.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for the
same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Conncil of the Borongh of
Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey as follows:
1. That Louis S. Izenberg of Izenberg Appraisal Associates is hereby retained as a
licensed, professional appraiser in the above referenced matter at a cost not to
exceed $300.00.
2. That this action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursnant to NJ.S.A. 40A:II-5(l)(a) in accordance with the Borongh's Fair and
Open Process as authorized by law.
