HomeMy Public PortalAbout140_031_Site Walk Letter I understand you have expressed interest in having Electric Car Chargers located at your facility. Our next step in this process will be to conduct a site assessment. At this site assessment we will obtain the following information: - Power • Identify the 208/120 electrical panel and capacity for a 40 amp 2 pole circuit for each charger. You need 2 slots for each breaker. 4 chargers equal 8 open slots. - Placement • Identify the parking stalls to be utilized for the EVSE (Electric Vehicle Service Equipment) The closer the spots to the electrical panel the less expensive the installation. - Path of Installation • Identify the path that will be taken from the Electrical Panel to the EVSE o Measurements will be taken for amount of wire needed / trenching (if required) / concrete cut and replacement (if required) / Boring/ Protective Bollards or Wheel Stops, etc. For the site assessment, there will need to be someone on site to give us access to Electrical panels and also knowledge of where Electrical panels are located in your Facility. It is very common to look at multiple Electrical Panels to find the best one. Once site assessment is completed, a bid will then be put together which we will share with you for acceptance or decline. *** We have until August 31St to get a "Notice to Proceed". So approved, signed quotes need to be returned no later than August 25th to meet the deadline.
