REQUESTING APPROVAL OF INSERTION OF $108,254 THE 2010
BUDGET REVENUE AVAILABLE FROM THE NEW JERSEY EDA
HAZARDOUS SITE REMEDIATION FUND
WHEREAS! N.J.S. 40:4-87 provides that the Director of Local
Government Services may approve the insertion of any special
item of revenue in the budget of any municipality when such
item shall have been made available by law and the amount
thereof was not determined at the time of the adoption of the
budgetr and
WHEREAS, said Director may also approve the insertion of any
item of appropriation for equal amount.
NOW, THEREFORE! BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of Carteret
hereby requests the Director of the Division of Local
Government Services to approve the insertion of an item of
revenue in the budget of the year 2010 in the sum of $108,254
which item is now available as a revenue from the New Jersey
EDA Hazardous Site Remediation Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a like sum of $108,254 be and the
same is hereby appropriated under the caption of:
New Jersey EDA Hazardous Site Remediation Fund
Adopted this 19th day of August, 2010
and certified as a true copy of the
original on August 20, 2010.
