Vontract-
This agreement made and entered into by and between the
Water Tower Paint & Repair Co. ,of Laporte City, Iowa. as
party of the first part and the Incorporated Town of Wellsburg
as party of the second part on this—
Witnesseth:
The inside of tank and riser pipe shall be scraped and
steelbrushed all over and painted two coats of red lead paint
with fifteen per cent lawtharge.
The outside shall be painted as follows:
Roof two coats of red enamel.
Tank and riser pipe two coats of aluminum paint.
Name Wellsburg put on tank in letters four foot high.
begs, struts and all framework painted two coats of aluminum
paint.
Party of first part agrees to use Iowa State Highway
Specification paint and further agrees to furnish paint and
repaint any part of tank at any time party of second part deems
paint has not lasted as it should.
Party of first part is hereby given authority by party of
second part to keep every one away from work during its completion
unless authorized by party of second part.
Party of first part agrees to do any repair work necessary
and desired by party of second part and upon inspection will give
party of second part contract price.
Work is to be inspected as soon as completed and upon
acceptance the sum of Three Hundred and Twenty Five Dollars($325.00)
as full consideration for above mentioned paint and painting and
becomes due and payable.
