REQUESTING APPROVAL OF INSERTION OF S600,000 THE 2010
BUDGET REVEi\'UE AVAILABLE FROM THE STATE OF NEW
JERSEY GREEN ACRES PROGRAM
\VHEREAS, N.J.S. 40:4-87 provides that the Director of Local Government Services may
approve the insertion of any special item of revenue in the budget of any municipality when
such item shall have been made available by law and the amount thereof was not determined
at the time of the adoption of the budget, and
\1'HEREAS, said Director may also approve the insertion of any item of appropriation for
equal amount.
NO\V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of Carteret hereby requests the
Director of the Division of Local Government Services to approve the insertion of an item of
revenue in the budget of the year 20ID in the sum of$600,000 which item is now available as
a revenue from the State of New Jersey Green Acres Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a like sum of $600,000 be and the same is bereby
appropriated under the caption of:
State oINew Jersey Green Acres Program
Adopted this 9" day of September, 2010
and certified as a true copy of the original
on September 10th, 2010.
