HomeMy Public PortalAbout2011-023 Resolution Ordering Hunter Dr North Reconstruction Imp ProjectMember Weir introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.2011-23 RESOLUTION ORDERING HUNTER DRIVE (NORTH) RECONSTRUCTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, a resolution of the city council adopted on March 15, 2011, fixed a date for the council hearing on the proposed reconstruction of Hunter Drive between Hamel Road and Medina Road, construction of a trail along Hunter Drive between Hamel Road and Medina Road, and extension of utilities in Hunter Drive from Hamel Road to Elm Creek Drive; and WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given and the hearing was held on April 5, 2011, at which hearing all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to have heard thereon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. The above -described improvement is necessary, cost effective and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report. 2. The improvement is hereby ordered as proposed. 3. Bonestroo is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall continue to prepare plans and specifications for the making of the improvement. 4. The city council declares its official intent to reimburse itself for the costs of the improvement project from the proceeds of taxable bonds. Dated: April 5, 2011. T. M.
