X. Consideration of Bids, Contracts, Agreements and Expenditures
1 Funding Options for the Beach Rake
2 To obtain the City Council's approval for the one-time lump sum merit pay
3 Amend the Water and Sewer Fund FY2013-2014 Budget by an increase of$80,000. Additional
$80,000 will be added to expenses line item 505-4310-52-2205, Repairs & Maintenance —
Infrastructure; the $80,000 will come from revenue line item, 505-00-39-1300, prior year fund
balance.
4 Drinking Water Laboratory and Related Services Contract July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2016. This is
done every contract period for all of the drinking water testing. Service connections 3.227 x 2.6 =
Population 8,390 per EPD Calculation. Total Fee is $10,000. Budget Line Item: 505-4410-52-3600
5 Approval of GDOT permits for flashing pedestrian cross-walk signage from McKenzie Street to 15th
Street. GDOT is to the cost of engineering and installation. City of Tybee will be responsible for
on-going maintenance. Estimated value of flashing pedestrian cross-walk signage is $135,000 plus
based on previous city bids.
